This trek is especially recommended for those who intend to do short walks for one to five days. It has varieties for those as well who take interest in long treks of up to ten days. However, Driving from Islamabad to Gilgit and Hunza your trek will actually start from Borit Lake in the upper Hunza (Gojal).You will climb the trail and crossing the Passu Glacier and reach the high point of Patundas (4200m), a summer posture settlement for Gulkin villagers. You will have the magnificent panorama of mountains such as Shisper Peak (7611m), Passu Peak (7284m), and the entire Batura Massif including Batura 1 (7885m).

Most parts of this trek are easy with wild followers and great summer pastures. The only difficult part is crossing the white skin Passu Glacier. You will meet very friendly Wakhi people especially women with their cattle in summer pastures who offer yogurt, butter milk & fresh milk to all the visitors.

Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad – Meet & Brief

Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. This is a day to rest, get your first impressions of Pakistan’s capital, and fine-tune the upcoming adventure with your guide.

Day 02: Drive to Chilas – The Mighty Karakoram Highway

Start early for a scenic drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway. Stop for lunch at Besham, a midway town, and continue along the Indus River valley with dramatic landscapes.

Day 03: Journey to Hunza – Rakaposhi to Royal Forts

Day 05: Trek to Luzdhur Pasture – Crossing Passu Glacier
